The Dona Abbott In memory of Dona's love of the arts, her family has set up an endowment fund to support the arts. All proceeds from the sale of her work will be used to support this endowment. This year, the endowment sponsored an award at the Rocky Mountain National Watermedia exhibition held at the Foothills Art Center in Golden, Colorado. Recipient: This year's winner of the $500.00 Dona Abbott Memorial Award went to Grand Junction, Colorado artist Gayle Gerson for her Ghosts of Africa. Artist Stephen Quiller was the juror for this show and judged the awards.
